Gilmartin’s
Cash+Carry Staff recently took part in County Colours Day on 15th July
2005. This event was organised by
I.S.P.C.C. to raise funds for their ongoing work.
People were
encouraged to wear their County colours on the day and to at least €5 from
everyone who participated. Gilmartin’s
took the idea a step further and sponsored
Roscommon’s
Greatest Fan (one of our management team) to wear the dreaded Leitrim
Colours for the day. Being next –door neighbours
there is great rivalry between the two counties. Reluctantly she agreed and on the 15th
arrived dressed in the Leitrim colours from head to toe. As a result Gilmartin’s raised
over €300 for ISPCC.
